I am a passionate self-taught computer graphic designer/developer. I have developed expertise in Adobe Flash, since I started working it from February 2001. A Clean & Green Developer-Designer on Flash platform technologies like Flash, Flex, Captivate, AIR, Camtasia, Articulate, Flash Develop etc. as well as SCORM, AICC, accessibility & Section 508, QTI, using Javascript, XML, evaluation, inspiration, learner theory, etc. – though mostly focused on using the Flash platform for creating e-learning, Web, Usability…, and at last avid blogger too based out of Hyderabad and now again in Bangalore, India. Prior to this, I have been working as Interaction Designer in various Tech firms last one being Wipro Limited, Bangalore, where I had worked on mainly on Adobe Flash Platform to quote few works like RIA’s as well as several desktop applications and quite a few Flashlite applications.
Being this blog’s principal, I am planning to add some more topical blog issues which are dear to my heart. I plan no limits in the topics. Rantings, news, comments on news, photos, rumors, anything might come. Already have Mani on board in this blog, I have plans to invite a few more as co-authors to this blog. I am constantly looking for new ways to improve my skill sets, to enhance my network in this domain – and to see every single opportunity in the marketplace that I can help you out. In case, if you are open to any kind of collaboration/partnering with respect to Adobe Flash content development in any enterprising applications like Medical Animation, Technical Engineering animated content or lifestyle content development domain and make use of my experience and/or my connections within that area, its fine for me.. Manikantan. K is a Flash enthusiast and is equally passionate about designing applications and games for mobile phones. He is a graduate student at Nanyang Technological University at Singapore. Mani is quite active at the Forum Nokia discussions board and its Wiki. There are lot of articles/tutorials, code snippets and tips that he has published in the Forum Nokia site, in addition to those posted in the tutorials now page here.
In addition to Flash, he loves Photoshop and have already worked on it for the past 3 -4 years.
Latest update with Mani is that in recognition and as a reward to the Flash Lite works of Mani with which he had been pursuing over the last two years, Forum Nokia has awarded him the title of “FORUM NOKIA CHAMPION“ for this year of 2009. Best of Luck, buddy
