According to Bill, Shantanu (Adobe, CEO) reported 800 million at his CTIA keynote(Youtubed now) in San Francisco this week (Sept 2008).
Yes, that’s more than 800,000,000, or more than 1/2 billion devices that have shipped to date. I imagine, look for a press release (perhaps) soon.
Earlier this year, Adobe had stated they were estimated to make 1 billion devices by 2009.
